In this episode we travel to Saranac Lake, NY to take on the infamous Nathan Vargo for some serious Pike fishing. After a beautiful drive through the Adirondack Mountains, we rest our heads at an amazing place right on the lake, get some great advice and equipment in town and cook up a succulent meal with an old friend.
Check out all three segments of our trip to the Adirondacks and let us know what you think.

Best one so far!!! GREAT JOB!
The episodes keep getting better!! Can’t wait for the next one.
What a pleasure it was to host the HLS team in our bit of paradise Saranac Lake. You guys are really putting together a top notch production, and everyone up here is just tickled to death about the show! Collectively we would like to show our appreciation for showing off our great little town in the mountains. PS- let me know if you want to feature some ice fishing, ’cause the water is already getting hard up here…..
Thanks John,
Thanks to you, Nate, and Mike for a great trip.
Less work than play up there!
- Mike
Theres nothing more thrilling knowing that you have hooked a pike. The fastest freshwater fish on earth and also (in my oppinion) the best tasting and fighting. And dont even get me started on muskies.
I think i was born to fish becouse if something doesnt involve fish im not realy interseted. I would love to have a show like this when i get older.
Great episode.
